E2 Technology works with the best equipment and systems vendors for each production process to provide services from customized cell design to production layout, equipment manufacturing, installation, inspection, and trial production.
① Mixing ProcessThe mixing process involves measuring and blending various raw materials needed to create the anode and cathode. In the mixing process, active materials and solvents are combined to create a slurry.
② Coating ProcessThe completed slurry from the mixing process goes through the coating process, where it is thinly coated onto copper and aluminum foils using a coating machine. The coated electrodes are then dried in an oven above 100 degrees.
③ Roll Pressing ProcessAfter the coating and drying are complete, the roll pressing process follows, where the electrode passes between two large rolling machines. As the electrode becomes flatter, its energy density increases.
④ Slitting ProcessIn the slitting process, the flattened electrodes from the roll pressing process are cut vertically according to their size.
⑤ Notching ProcessThe notching process involves cutting the electrode horizontally and creating V-shaped grooves, positive (+), and negative (-) tabs, completing the entire electrode process.
⑥ Vacuum Dryer (V/Dryer) ProcessThis process dries moisture and foreign substances in a vacuum before moving on to the assembly process.
